Hello Sisters!
I am thrilled to finally announce that THE ART OF SISTERHOOD ONLINE is coming back for 2018!!! Are you seeking a creative community of women where you feel accepted, where you feel connected, where you feel heard, and a place where you feel safe enough to create and share? If you said yes to any of those questions, then The Art of Sisterhood is for you! TAOS was born from my own personal desire to connect with other women on a more intimate level and spread positivity into lives of my art sisters. Sometimes what we forget to remember in the midst of life is that there is room for all of us at the table and how important it is for us to connect with other women and hold space for each other!
In 2018, we bring you TAOS - RISE ABOVE AND SHINE YOUR LIGHT. This year, we will share our own experiences in which we were able to rise above despite the fears, despite the bullying, despite the hate, despite the doubts, despite whatever it was that was trying to hold us back! You will hear our own personal stories of rising above, and how we were able to take that experience to help us to spread our light into the world. Our hope is to encourage and support other women to rise above in their own lives.

I need it, because I am getting serious withdrawal symptoms now that I am not taking LFI this year…. ha just kidding, but miss you Kara.
Why I would love to win this class is because I was in it last year and I felt so encouraged and uplifted by the other woman, it was a truely a healing journey. And as things are getting increasingly difficult here, and I tend to do less art instead of more, I hope it will help me back on track, and that the support and love of my sisters will help me manage whatever is going on. Oh my goodness – this course sounds so wonderful! As a highly introverted person, I struggle to put myself out there and make meaningful relationships with others. I depend on the online art community and this course is just perfect! I would very much like to win a seat!

This is so exciting. I need this spot because I took some courses in 2016 , a few of yours included. . I could see my art improving, and I was learning so much. My Dad became sick and more dependent on me and it all stopped. At one point I packed away all my art supplies because it made me so sad to see them and not have the time to create. Now I’m slowly finding time to create again and I’m struggling. I’m filled with so much self doubt. I would love some courses to help guide me back into my creativity. Art feeds my soul!

Kara……Yay! I need TAOS because I have absolutely no community where I live. None, zero. There was an art center close to my home and unfortunately, it closed 3 days after I discovered it. I love my home but I am just so very far out in the boonies so the only way I connect with art friends is online.
I have longed to have friends in real life to enjoy doing art with but online is the next best thing! Thank you, friend!

I would love to win a spot because it sounds like a blast as well as uplifting and challenging in so many ways. I am currently being treated for a chronic health condition that has gotten much worse very suddenly and I am quite certain I will be cured…with the new treatment/meds that weren’t available to me a few short years ago. There is also an underlying condition that will hopefully resolve itself as well but I won’t know for another 8 months or so. Lately I’m finding art to be a great soother and stress reliever and I think this class could be just what I need at this point in my life.

Hi Kara! So happy this class is back! I need this class so much because lately, I am surrounded by over 50 adults who are acting like mean girl middle schoolers. It’s really depressing to see. I need this class because I have to eradicate the horrible year last year and find a way to replace it with a positive. An experience that overshadows 2017 so I totally forget the entire year and think only of the Taos event in its place.
Well, darn. Said I must redo. Redo. I have never done a women’s retreat before, especially where it I focused on creating, with others who also create. We have some trips planned this year but not just me. It would be heaven to focus on creating with just me and other women who are doing the same and living, making the same life changes.

I struggled a lot last year or so after a close friendship ended and I was left questioning my ability to find that close connection. I Would love an to be part of a group. I’d love this course to help build my confidence and participate with “sisters”, especially since I’m an Only. I’ve started painting after a hand injury which caused me to give up sculpting. I love your classes but I become so impatient with myself to do better.

Hi Kara, I am thrilled to have found you! I am a relatively new artist, but have always been a creative person. I love telling and hearing stories and making connections. I am currently working through TAOS 2017 and I love it!! I am finding my voice as an artist and I could not be more excited. Not only do I need TAOS 2018, but I am drooling over it ?❤️❤️
One of my goals for this year is to find the courage and confidence to begin to engage with the local art community. My hope is that TAOS could help me on that path.
This sounds amazing and I would so love a sisterhood to join. This is my year of art because last year was so busy I did no art at all, I did other creative stuff but no art and so this year I am immersing myself back into my art, I am taking back some of my life from my family and my grandchildren and my busy ness and making me time, this sisterhood sounds perfect!
