Come Learn with Us in California!

Join us in our Southern California studio for an inspiring, hands-on workshop with artists from around the world.

Our in-person workshops offer the opportunity to step away from everyday life, spend a few days immersed in your art, and learn directly from artists whose work inspires you. With small class sizes and a welcoming studio environment, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, receive individual guidance, and connect with other artists who love creating as much as you do.

Most workshops are open to all levels unless otherwise noted. Whether you’re continuing to grow your skills, exploring something new, or simply craving a few days dedicated to creating, we’d love to welcome you to the studio.

Studio Information

STUDIO ADDRESS

The door to the studio is on the first floor, in the front of the building, next to the mailboxes.

Parking is available on the street. Students will also be emailed a map to a parking lot.

AIRPORTS AND HOTELS

If you are flying in, the closest airport to the studio is Santa Ana – John Wayne Airport.  It is about 5 miles away from the studio, with several hotels nearby as well.  Our clients’ favorite hotels are listed below.

Budget friendly and near the freeway

Orange Grove Inn

Other neighboring places that are fun to stay include Newport Beach and Old Town Orange.

***there are hotels closer to the studio, but several that I DO NOT recommend.  If you have questions about hotels, please reach out to me at kara@karabullockart.com.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Due to our limited class sizes, workshop tuition is non-refundable.

However, if you are unable to attend and the workshop is sold out with a wait list, please contact us. We will offer your spot to the next person on the wait list. If we are able to fill your spot, your tuition will be refunded, minus a $75 administrative fee.

If the workshop is not sold out or we are unable to fill your spot from the wait list, we are unable to issue a refund.

***These policies also apply to a Zoom workshop.

CANCELLATIONS

If the workshop does not meet the minimum enrollment, it may be cancelled. You will be notified at least 30 days before the workshop and will receive a full refund. In the rare event that a workshop must be cancelled due to an emergency or circumstances beyond our control, all workshop tuition will also be refunded in full.
