Hi I live most of the year in Mexico and was wondering if there is a list of general supplies that I will need . I am in Calgary at the moment and can get most everything here. If not I will use what I have. Thanks Shelly

      Hi Shelly!!
I would definitely buy pencils, graphite, colored, charcoal and Stabilo All. I would also have be sure to get watercolors and a variety of acrylics. Canvases and watercolor paper will be used. Gesso is always important! I hope that this helps! Please email me if you have more questions!!

Thank you Kara, I do have acrylics and have purchased a acrylic medium to extend the working time I was not sure if you use fluid acrylics or not? I am very excited the year. Thank you Shelly

    Hi Shelly!

I don’t use fluids too often or acrylic medium, but I do use a wet palette which extends the working time A LOT!!

I am also really excited for the year!!

Hello. I just watched the first week’s videos. Are all of the lessons going to be like this – with you demonstrating but no verbal instruction? I think I was expecting more instruction and not all demo… does that make sense?
    Thank you!

      Hi Cynthia!!

Thank you for your message! No!!! There will be step-by step instructions beginning from week 3. The first two weeks are just completing the exercises to gauge where we are, and then week 2 we will talk about inspiration. Starting in week 3, all of the main lessons will have step-by-step and verbal instruction.

      Hugs!!

      Kara

I am so looking forward to my course.I am wondering what are wood cradle boards. It is not an expression (cradle board) that I am familiar with nor any one that I have asked. Thanks Kara.
