I can’t tell you just how happy I am that I took this class. Color mixing is something that I struggle with and Kara took some of the mystery out of that for me. She uses a limited palette and that has helped me a lot. Her thin layer upon think layer painting approach was very informative and has helped me even with painting in oils. Kara makes everything so easy to follow and understand. I highly recommend this class!

This is a very practical and clear class. Kara is very responsive in the group and answers students’ questions clearly and quickly. I appreciate her information on using all the tools at our disposal including apps and projectors and demystifying a lot of her process. I highly recommend!

I took this class a while ago but I will say I learned a lot and now, even later, I can say I love what I created in Kara’s class. The painting hangs in my great room and I still love it! I particularly enjoyed using the app and learning the zorn palette. I made up a palette of all the colors and I frequently use that palette to check colors and decide on what colors to use for the flesh tones. This is a great class and I think you too will learn a lot if you take it!
