Artist Statement
I live on the Central Coast of California and have been creating on and off throughout my life. Last year, I began guest teaching online mixed media courses focusing mostly on faces, both whimsical and realistic. For 2016, my focus personally and in my teachings will be on figures; celebrating that our bodies are the containers of our souls, encouraging others to care for their bodies and continuing my own work of caring for my own body and soul, listening to and honoring its whispers.
