MODULE 1 - YOUR ARTIST IDENTITY
You may have read the title to this module and felt like running! There are many days when I feel so confused about who I am. What helps me is getting all of my thoughts down in an organized way. Asking the right questions always helps, too! So, this first section will be devoted to helping you put into words who you are as an artist, today. This might include more than just being an artist. Your identity might be a person that wears many hats, and that's okay! Remember, this is not something that is set in stone, and it WILL LIKELY change as you grow. My story has changed many times over the years! It's normal. But, this module is meant to give you a starting point to figuring out who you are right now, what that means, and where you want to go with it. Included in this module are exercises for finding inspiration and influences, as well as, exercises, prompts, and a workbook to help you explore your personal artistic identity!
MODULE 2 - CRAFT A BIO AND STATEMENT
Have you ever written a biography or artist statement? If not, do not worry! I am here to help you! In this module, we will begin by exploring the difference between the two. Next, I will guide you as you write your very own, personal, AWESOME, artist biography and statement. To help give you confidence in writing your own, I will be sharing with you many examples of other artists' biographies and statements. We will look at successful examples, and ones that need more work! Also included with this module are special worksheets and templates (in our beautiful course workbook) to help guide you as you write up your own compelling drafts! You will leave this module with your very own biography and artist statement and an understanding of when and where to use each one in your career!
MODULE 3- BUILD A PROFESSIONAL RESUME
Up next - your professional, artist résumé! A résumé is all about showcasing ones journey, authentically. You may be wondering how you can do that with an old, boring résumé. Guess what!? It doesn't have to be boring! No! I am going to show you how many artists create résumés in today's market! You will create something that is eye-catching, has style, and reflects you as an artist! You will learn what to highlight on this document and what should be left out! This is truly your chance to shine and give people a glimpse into your creative world! An artist résumé is our chance to give others a glimpse into who we are as an artist. This is just another piece of your storytelling puzzle that will help tell your story in a compelling and professional way! Offered in this section are multiple templates for you to choose from so that you have a springboard to get started!
MODULE 4 - ESTABLISH YOUR PRESENCE
When it comes to choosing the right platforms, it's all about finding where our audience hangs out most, AND what platforms suit your needs best. Once those decisions have been made, setting up and optimizing our profiles is key. Think eye-catching visuals and a killer bio! This module will focus on ways that you can establish your presence on social media in a way that others will instantly identify you as an artist. This module will not teach you how to market on social media, but it will give you many creative ways to share your work in a way that is engaging and authentic. Our workbook will also include information on ideas for posts, ideas for scheduling, and more!
MODULE 5 - SET GOALS FOR MOVING FORWARD
Now that we've delved into discovering our artistic identity and honing our skills, it's time to set our sights on the future. In this module, we'll focus on establishing both short-term and long-term goals to propel us toward the career and life we envision. Some areas of focus will include:

Let's face it, this artist life is a journey, and we are all trying to find our way, especially when it comes to our own distinct style!
