Want to create that business you've been dreaming about but have no idea where to begin?  Are you already running your own business but feel that it needs an overhaul?  Not getting the results you had hoped for?

If you said YES to any, or all, of the above, then this five day workshop is for you!  You will leave with a solid plan that will give you the skills and confidence that you need to jump start your very own business or give your current business the overhaul that it needs!  It is time to stop dreaming and start doing the work that will get your gifts and passion out into the world!

Monday - 9:00 - 3:00

I will kick of the day by sharing my own journey with you all.  I will tell you the TRUTH about owning a business that NO ONE tells you, that you should know from the beginning.  Maybe it is that we are not asking the right questions, or that the business happened before we really knew what we were doing.  I can tell you that is exactly what happened to me!  Not only will I share you the WHOLE TRUTH from the beginning, on Day 1, we will also cover these topics:

  • Listening to your voice
  • Setting short and long term goals
  • Experience - what do you have/what do you need
  • What are others in your field doing?
  • Finding your niche
  • Who is your customer?

*Day will be a mix of training large group and working in small collaborative groups.

Tuesday - 9:00 - 3:00

Creating a brand with a clear message is key!  What is your product and how is it going to solve the problem of your customer?  This must be clear to you, and the people that you are serving!  Once I was clear about what I was creating for my audience and how it could help them, my business really began to soar.  During Day 3, we will focus on the following topics:

  • What is your product and how can you diversify?
  • Creating online classes
  • Create descriptions that will attract your customers
  • How to price your products
  • Create and sustain community
  • Build your audience/mailing list

*Day will be a mix of training large group and working in small collaborative groups.

  • Field trip to view other websites - the good AND the bad
  • Navigating the WP dashboard
  • Necessary tabs in menu to get started

  • and more!

Thursday - 9:00 - 3:00

I would have to say that one of the most important parts of a successful business is how you market it!  You can certainly try to grow organically, but this will take a lot of time and effort.  Marketing your business will help you get faster results, and it does not have to cost you a lot of money.  Marketing is not only about creating ads and spending money.  There is so much more to it!  Some people really dread the marketing side of business, but if you understand what you are doing, it really can be fun and easier than you think!  I have spent a lot of time trying different ways to market and am excited to share what I have learned.  During Day 4 we will cover the following topics:

  • Using Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram to market your products
  • How to present yourself online - what to share/not share
  • Content Calendar - what to share and when, making a plan that is easy to use
  • Mailchimp - building your list and integration

*Day will be a mix of training large group and working in small collaborative groups.

Friday - 9:00 - 3:00

Our final day together will really focus on you leaving with a solid plan so that you can go home with the confidence needed to set your plan in motion!   What will your week look like?  How will you plan and prioritize your time?  How will you handle hard situations?  How will you keep your customers coming back, long term?  How do you keep up and/or ahead of other businesses?  Lastly, and most importantly, how do you remain true to who you are, and not lose yourself, or your family, as you are working to make this dream happen?  I will cover all of this and more on our final day together!  We will also cover the following:

  • When to hire help
  • Putting time where your money is
  • Nasty emails
  • Special customers/special deals
  • Boosting creativity
  • and more!

*Day will be a mix of training large group and working in small collaborative groups.
